Wingspan: When did you start playing soccer?

Abare: “I started playing when I was 2.”

Wingspan: What encouraged you to start playing?

Abare: “My parents signed me up for it and it was always the sport I enjoyed the most.”

Wingspan: What has been the highlight of the season for the team?

Abare: “Finishing third in the district and making playoffs.”

Wingspan: How has playing soccer affected your life? 

Abare: “It has taught me many life lessons, allowed me to meet a lot of people, and given me the opportunity to travel all over the world.”

Wingspan: What’s one piece of advice you would give to underclassmen in soccer? 

Abare: “Have fun and work hard, and success will come with it.”

Wingspan: What’s been your favorite memory this season?

Abare: “My favorite memory was scoring the game winning goal against Frisco with 2 minutes left to clinch playoffs.”

Wingspan: What pushes you to do your best?

Abare: “I think my will to win is what pushes me to do my best and always work hard.”

Wingspan: Who is your biggest inspiration when it comes to soccer?

Abare: “My biggest inspiration is my dad. He has always supported me and been the one who pushes me the hardest so that I can be successful.”
