The campus is undergoing some renovations this summer including new carpet, furniture, and repainting the walls

For many teachers, this poses a challenge as they have to take down photos, posters, and decorations, years in the making for some.

However, Key Club may be able to help out.

Teachers can request volunteers via a Google Form to help clean out their classrooms.

For Humanities teacher, Sarah Wiseman having the extra hands is a big help.

“Having students help with taking down and packing up the classroom is a really big help to teachers cause we still have to teach and plan and having extra hands just makes that whole process a lot faster,” Wiseman said.

Not only are teachers having to clean out their classrooms, but finding storage is another challenge.

“To prepare for the renovations I’ve been throwing away more stuff than usual I’ve been having students move books off of bookshelves into lockers,” Wiseman said.
