AP testing starts Monday

AP Exams started this Monday with the AP U.S Government and Politics and Japanese Language and Culture exams at 8 a.m. this morning.

AP testing will be going rapid-fire for the next two weeks starting Monday. 

The dates are as follows:

On Monday, there will be the AP United States Government and Politics and AP Japanese Language and Culture at 8 a.m. and the AP Chemistry and AP Spanish Literature and Culture at 12 p.m.

On Tuesday, AP Environmental Science will be testing at 8 a.m. and AP Psychology at 12 p.m.

AP English Literature and Composition will be at 8 a.m. on Wednesday and AP Comparative Government and Politics and AP Computer Science a will be at 12 p.m. the same day.

On Thursday, there will be tests for AP Human Geography and AP Macroeconomics at 8 a.m. and AP Seminar and AP Statistics at noon.

For Friday, AP European History and AP United States History will test at 8 a.m. and at 12 p.m. AP Art History and AP Microeconomics will be testing.

Along with this, on Friday,  Art and Design— AP 2D Art and Design, 3D Art and Design, and drawing will have their last day for coordinators to submit digital portfolios (by 8 p.m. ET) and to gather 2D Art and Design and Drawing students for physical portfolio assembly.

Teachers should have forwarded students’ completed digital portfolios to coordinators before this date.

As for next week, next Monday, May 9th, AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC will test at 8 a.m. and AP Computer Science Principles and AP Italian Language and Culture at 12 p.m.

For Tuesday, May 10th, the tests will be for AP English Language and Composition at 8 a.m. and AP Physics C: Mechanics will be at 12 p.m.

On this day as well, there will be a special exam time. AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism is the only exam given at 2 p.m.

As for Wednesday, May 11th, AP Chinese Language and Culture and AP Spanish Language and Culture will be testing at 8 a.m. and AP Biology will be going at noon.

Thursday, May 12th, will consist of the AP French Language and Culture and AP World History: Modern tests at 8 a.m. and the AP Physics 1: Algebra-Based test at 12 p.m.

Lastly, on Friday, May 13th, AP German Language and Culture and AP Music Theory will test at 8 a.m. and all of AP testing will round off with AP Latin and AP Physics 2: Algebra-Based  at 12 p.m. on the same day.

Frisco ISD will permit late testing under specific circumstances that meet the Frisco ISD guidelines and comply with College Board’s requirements.  

The campus CCMR facilitator and principal will make the final decision on whether the campus will administer a late test for a student.
