The votes are in after Saturday’s Frisco ISD Board of Trustees election.

Three places were on the ballot with two incumbents running for re-election.

All three places saw fairly close results with incumbent Gopal Ponangi winning Place 1 over Angela Dunford.

In Place 2, incumbent Natalie Herbert lost by 53 votes to challenger Marvin Lowe.

And in Place 3, Stephanie Elad defeated Dustin Paschal.

​​The results are not official until they are canvassed later this month with the winners taking the oath of office at the board meeting on June 13.
