Wingspan: How did you become interested in soccer?

Kwon: “My dad got me into playing soccer when i was really little to get me to be more outgoing and i ended up really liking it.”

Wingspan: What position do you play and why?

Kwon: “I play center midfielder because i’m good at it.”

Wingspan: How do you balance school and soccer?

Kwon: “I have to manage my time really well, I get home and have to do all my homework so i don’t get behind.”

Wingspan: What does your training schedule look like? How often do you practice?

Kwon: “Everyday during 4th period we practice soccer in school and I also play club soccer so on Mondays and Wednesdays i practice 7:00-9:00”  

Wingspan: Do you have a certain diet you must follow? If so what is it?

Kwon: “No i just eat a lot.”

Wingspan: How do you plan to pursue this for the future?

Kwon: “Well i did get college offers for soccer but i’m probably going to go to UT and I’ll just play soccer recreationally.”

Wingspan: Do you have a specific routine before playing a game?

Kwon: “I just listen to music and I try to focus on the game.”

Wingspan: What was your biggest accomplishment?

Kwon: “As a sophomore, we went to the state quarterfinals.”

Wingspan: Have you ever gotten any serious injuries from playing?

Kwon: “No, not really.”

Wingspan: What keeps you motivated?

Kwon: “My parents, they support me a lot and i don’t want to disappoint them so i just play my best every time they come watch me play.”
