Research opportunities for avid medical professionals are at the heart of a HOSA presentation in the lecture hall Friday during advisory.

The organization is trying to expand opportunities for students interested in healthcare by reintroducing branches of specified fields of study in medicine.

“‘From the Heart’ is a campaign based club looking to find creative solutions to fundraising and ‘Doctors Without Borders’ offers medical humanitarian services to people solely based on need,”

HOSA co-president, senior Amish Bhatnagar said.

Bhatnagar believes this expansion could lead to positive changes for the campus chapter..

“This is just the beginning to HOSA’s expansion at Liberty,” Bhatnagar said. “I hope this will attract many new members to take interest in medicine and pursue medicine as a possible future career.
