Competing in the Frisco ISD Invitational on Thursday, the swim and dive team hopes to drop times as they continue to get closer to qualifying meets for districts.

“We have a qualifying meet coming up that everyone’s working hard to make,” freshman Zoe Schneider said. “One thing I hope to accomplish is to get the cuts I need for qualifiers.”

Thursday’s meet is just the third of the season and Schneider says in order to drop times, the team needs to work on their chemistry.

“I compete in two relays, the 200 free A relay and the 200 medley A relay, and we are super close to actually breaking the school record,” Schneider said. “But, in order to do that we need to work on our team bond. This will not only help us in the relay, but in individual events just bringing us closer as a team.”
