More often than not, when something doesn’t go the way we want it to, we get upset and ask ourselves why? This has happened to me countless times and it doesn’t get easier the older you get.

Though some might say you can get wiser as you get older, society has made it to where anyone can pretty much get anything they want at the touch of a button. So being wise doesn’t come in handy when you don’t get something that you want.

Even though I have many lessons to learn in my lifetime, one thing that has stuck with me is blessings in disguise. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and if it doesn’t then it could be a blessing in disguise. Everyday I wish to accept the things that are not in my control and strength to change the things that are.

As the year 2023 begins, I hope every one of you look at everything that doesn’t go the way you want it to, as blessings in disguise and acceptance for the things you can’t change.
