It has come to my attention recently that some private schools are having students go through metal detectors every day when they come into school. This got me thinking about if it would be beneficial for our school and other Frisco ISD schools. 

It’s definitely better to be safe than sorry. Because there is so much unknown in society right now, I don’t think that this would necessarily be a bad idea. We could protect the people and the objects entering our campus.

This will ensure that no one is carrying anything that is not welcome at this school. Though this can be expensive and time-consuming, the pros outweigh the cons. We never know what can happen. I hope everyone stays safe.
