Counselors host coffee event for seniors

The counseling office is bringing all seniors to the auditorium during their English classes to discuss college essentials. Students without an FISD English class will receive an email with the presentation and an invite to a one-on-one counselor meeting.

Seniors and parents have the opportunity to talk with their counselors tomorrow at the seniors’ Coffee with Counselors event from 8-8:55 a.m. in the auditorium.

The meeting will cover the college application process, GPA and rank information, college essay guidelines, SAT and ACT testing dates, letters of recommendations requirements, financial aid, scholarships, and other important information.

RSVP to reserve a spot at the event.

Karina Grokhovskaya is a Senior in her fourth year in broadcast and second year as executive producer for the WTV daily update. She is also in her second year on the debate team. In her free time, she loves to ice skate, read, and hang out with her friends. She is excited for her senior year and all that is to come this school year. Rachel Kim is a senior and is entering her second year of Wingspan. Outside of school, she probably can be seen at a coffee shop or at home reading her favorite series: Harry Potter or Percy Jackson. She also enjoys traveling, listening to Taylor Swift, watching period dramas, and learning about Greek mythology.
