With September just around the corner, mums and garters are available to purchase through the Mum Shop, supporting the redhawk cheerleading team.
Students can order their mums and garters online or at a pop up shop at either The Grove Clubhouse on Sept. 10 or Chuys on Sept. 12.
“We love encouraging everyone to buy a mum or garter because it’s a really great way to be school spirited and to get students involved,” cheer captain, senior Malia Willingham said. “We want people to buy them regardless of having a date or not, because it’s a really great tradition that everyone should get to experience!”
Pick up for mums and garters is from 2:30-5 p.m. on Sept. 18 on campus in the cafeteria or directly at the Mum Shop.
Students are encouraged to wear their mums to school on Sept. 21, along with at the Homecoming football game later that night.
