Mavericks stand in the way of Redhawks tennis

After a tough loss last game to the Knights, Redhawk tennis hopes to bounce back Tuesday against Emerson. The team is focused on maintaining consistency,” head coach William Davis said.

With their District 10-5A season record at an even 2-2, the tennis team seeks to improve in the standings as they host the Emerson Mavericks Tuesday at 4 p.m.

“The team is focused on maintaining consistency,” head coach William Davis said. “We are expecting great results and a competitive match.”

Senior Purnoor Sharma believes the match will be neck-and-neck, with both teams seeking to walk away with a win.

“I definitely think it will be close,” Sharma said. “I’ll try to ensure a win for my team by [doing my best to] win matches and cheering as loud as I can for my teammates.”
