Homecoming Court voting opens Wednesday

A yearly tradition is underway, as students can start voting for their Homecoming Court Wednesday. Each grade level will vote for their respective class along with vote for the King and Queen.

The homecoming football game is Sept. 21 and starting Wednesday afternoon students can vote for the 2023 Homecoming Court.

“Homecoming court is a great way to celebrate people and recognize people among each grade level,” Student Council Vice President, senior Lily Leyden said. “I think it’s a great tradition during homecoming and one that many students enjoy.”

Each grade level will have a court and students can vote between two sets of people from their grade level and the senior nominees.

Joaquin Perez is a Senior in his fourth year of broadcast and is an Executive Producer this year for the WTV Daily Update. He is also Student Council President, and a Best Buddies Officer in PTSA and in NHS. For fun, Joaquin likes to hang out with his friends, watch TV, and cook. He is excited to take on being an executive producer this school year and can’t wait to make content for WTV.
