Candy filled the parking lot on Wednesday with the annual Trunk R Treat hosted by the band for the community.
Despite the event being moved to a day after Halloween, families and kids still came and dressed up for the event.
“Trunk or treat went really well this year, we had a really big turnout even though it was the day after Halloween,” band president Sanjana Vallampati said. “We hold this event every year to expand on community outreach just to say thank you to the wonderful people around us who support Liberty!”
Junior Ally Gerardot was a part of two different trunks, Student Council and golf.
“It was so much fun,” Gerardot said. “My favorite part was passing out candy to all of the little kids and seeing them in their costumes. Also, watching them be so excited to try and put the gumdrop on the gingerbread man in our game.”
