“I chose Texas State because of the incredible coaching staff and beautiful campus.”

Wingspan: Was this a hard decision to choose this school?

“No, it was not a hard decision, I loved my visit so much.”

Wingspan: What are you expecting from being a college athlete?

“I’m expecting it to be very challenging but also rewarding as I have worked so hard for this.”

Wingspan: What school did you choose?

“I’m going to Steven F. Austin State University.”

Wingspan: Why did you choose that school?

“It was a small enough school that I felt comfortable, but a really competitive volleyball environment. I just felt like it was a great fit.”

Wingspan: Was this a hard decision to choose this school?

“It wasn’t hard because once I went for a visit I knew that’s where I would be most comfortable and feel best at. And I wanted to stay in Texas so it was the best of both worlds.

Wingspan: What are you expecting from being a college athlete?

A lot of sacrifice and a lot of time commitment, but I feel like I’m ready for that playing club and school volleyball already asked for that so.”

Oklahoma Christian University.”

Wingspan: Why did you choose that school?

“I chose this school because of the coaching staff and location. Their coaches are such amazing people and really helped. O.C. feels like home and it’s not too far from home, but far enough away so I can still see my family often.”

Wingspan: Was this a hard decision to choose this school?

“As soon as I went on my visit I knew this is where I wanted to go. I totally pictured myself living here and playing here and I knew it was going to be a perfect fit for me.”

Wingspan: What are you expecting from being a college athlete?

“I am expecting to have a super busy schedule. With soccer season being in the fall, I will be getting there and immediately getting started. I will have multiple practices a day six-seven days of the week and I will be trying my best to balance my classes and soccer.”

Miller: “Hendrix College.”

Wingspan: Why did you choose that school?

Miller: “Hendrix offered me a spot on their baseball team and it’s an amazing school in all aspects.”

Wingspan: Was this a hard decision to choose this school?

Miller: “After visiting other schools and comparing them to Hendrix the decision wasn’t hard at all.”

Wingspan: What are you expecting from being a college athlete?

Miller: “Being a college athlete is going to be tough and stressful but going to a school that isn’t strict should help all that.”

Wingspan: What school did you choose?

Weaks: “I have decided to pursue my academic and athletic career at Buena Vista University located in Storm Lake, Iowa.”

Wingspan: Why did you choose that school?

Weaks: “I chose BVU because on top being a strong D3 baseball program, they also have exceptional coaches and a great team environment. I feel like Buena Vista University is the perfect fit for me as a player and student.”

Wingspan: Was this a hard decision to choose this school?

Weaks: “The decision was a little tough at first, but after an official visit to the school it reaffirmed my confidence in my choice. Since then I have been very grateful for the opportunity they are providing me with and am ready to continue working in college.”

Wingspan: What are you expecting from being a college athlete?

Weaks: “I’m expecting collegiate baseball to be a change of pace that’s not going to come easy, but if there’s anything I’ve learned through the past four years at Liberty it’s that perseverance and commitment lead to success and I plan to keep that thought process throughout my times at BVU.”

Thorson: “I chose Ouachita Baptist University.”

Wingspan: Why did you choose that school?

Thorson: “That’s where I felt I could make the most impact in my baseball career.”

Wingspan: Was this a hard decision to choose this school?

Thorson: “Yes, because I was fortunate that I had a bunch of schools to choose from.”

Wingspan: What are you expecting from being a college athlete?

Thorson: “Expecting it to be fun and a new experience, and a new journey for my baseball and career in life.”

Roseby: “I chose Stephen F. Austin.”

Roseby: “I chose S.F.A. because it’s a good distance, how I bonded with the team, and the team has been very successful in the past years.”

Wingspan: Was this a hard decision to choose this school?

Roseby: “Yes, it was a very stressful and overwhelming, but when it was time to make my decision weight was lifted off my shoulder.”

Wingspan: What are you expecting from being a college athlete?

Roseby: “I hope to improve my skills, learn discipline, and teamwork. It’s all about personal growth.”
