The fourth Winter Extravaganza opened curtains on stage last Thursday and Friday to sell out crowds on both nights.
“Winter Extravaganza went beautifully,” Assistant Orchestra Madison Waggerman said. “It’s a huge undertaking and all hundreds of student performers did a really great job.”
While Winter Extravaganza takes a lot of preparation beforehand, students such as senior Arnav Sareen enjoy the process.
“I loved getting ready and seeing all the fantastic performances of all the fine arts here at Liberty,” Sareen said. “It was really cool and it was a fun time.”
Former fine arts students didn’t miss out on the concert as many alumni were found watching in the audience.
“Seeing all the alumni made me really happy because it’s nice how they keep on supporting all the fine arts even though they are not a part of the fine arts anymore,” junior Aashi Oswal said.
Waggerman believes that all the students and teachers’ hard work paid off in making Winter Extravaganza successful.
“My favorite part was just watching all the performers come off the stage and be happy with what they had produced off all levels,” Waggerman said. “It was nice to see that the students’ hard work had finally paid off.”
