The Redhawks girls’ basketball team took a 46 point win over Centennial on Monday, when they beat the Titans 63-17 in their second District 10-5A game of the season.
“We played together as a team,” head girls coach Ross Reedy said. “Everybody on our team got some opportunities, in fact ended up scoring. Which it does tell us we’re sharing the ball and it does tell us kids were confident in the moment of execution.”
Sophomore Jacy Abii led the Redhawks with 19 points, but junior Kathryn Murphy chipped in with eight points.
“It always feels good and exciting when you make shots and also have a piece in winning a game,” Murphy said. “Winning this game was good for us and helped us get the ball to different places. It gave others a chance to make plays and was overall a fun game to play.”
