Boys’ and girls’ soccer had a busy break, participating in tournaments and preseason scrimmages.
The boys’ had the busier break playing two scrimmages followed by a 0-1-2 showing in the Dr. Pink Frisco Tournament.
“We started off the games very good, but as the game goes on we start to lose focus,” junior Lucas Godoy said. “We learned that we need to maintain focus throughout the game.”
Getting more of a break, the girls’ team also participated in the FISD tournament going 1-2. The team will be back on the pitch Tuesday to play a scrimmage against Princeton.
“The tournament was a good learning experience for us as we approach district play,” junior Lily Gibbons said. “Against Princeton we just hope to apply everything we learned over break, and continue the preseason strong.”
