Girls’ basketball jumps right into round two of state playoffs, after being crowned Bi-District champions on Tuesday. The girls’ will take on Hillcrest High School Thursday in hopes of advancing.
Remaining undefeated in District 10-5A, the girls’ basketball team defeated Walnut Grove 50-21 on Tuesday to improve the Redhawks record to 6-0.
“It feels good [being undefeated],” junior Kathryn Murphy said. “I am excited for our games to come and ready for the challenges teams bring against us.”
Even though sitting top of the table, Murphy believes there is always room for improvement.
“I think something we could improve on is not fouling as much,” she said. “Especially towards the end because that is how teams start to come back.”
