Visiting Heritage High School on Tuesday, the Redhawks boys’ basketball team lost 62-44, lowering their District 10-5A record to 3-7.
“We didn’t finish out like we had hoped but we learned a lot throughout the game,” sophomore Toshi Mahtani said. “The main thing is handling full court ball pressure and when we do that, then executing on offense.”
An opportunity for a spot in the playoffs has passed for the Redhawks as they sit seventh in district standings, but with four games left in the season, they do not plan on ceasing their efforts.
“There’s still a lot of season left, and we know our guys are going to fight till the end,” assistant coach Bo Wilson said.
