Redhawks varsity tennis found themselves facing a high caliber of competition on the courts of Rockwall High School Friday.
Although the team did not return to The Nest with any first place finishes, the tournament still yielded positive results for the Redhawks in the eyes of the team.
Junior Krish Pokle and sophomore Purnoor Sharma finished second in A mixed doubles, while sophomore Avani Chinwan claimed the silver medal in A singles. Juniors Anya Krishna and Tanvi Desai took fourth place in A doubles, and sophomore Vivienne Haggard netted the same result in B mixed. Freshmen Ganesh Gowda and Ethan Tjong and junior Aarya Metha were all consolation finalists in their respective events.
