The Redhawks baseball team hopes to avoid striking out on Friday against the first place team in District 10-5A, the Memorial Warriors (9-2).
“Not nervous,” junior Jackson Pierce said. “We all have a chip on our shoulder and realize what we are playing for and what we have to do.”
The teams faced off earlier in the week with the Redhawks losing 15-3. Friday the Redhawks must up their game and step up to the plate if they want a different result.
“We have to play better all across the board,” sophomore Nick Smith said. “We can’t just show up and expect to be good at one part of the game. Have to be good everywhere.”
