To showcase the culmination of skills dancers have learned through the dance season, Red Rhythm is hosting their annual spring show in the auditorium on Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for both days with staff tickets available for free.
“The spring show is a collection of performances from contest season as well as new choreography,” Red Rhythm director Nicole Nothe said. “The Liberty High School dance department dance including Dance 3 , Dance 4, LHS color guard, and Mr. Li will be performing in the show as well.”
For junior Asian Calahan, this is an opportunity to show off the dances and skills the team has worked on this year.
“I am really excited for the spring show because it gives us an opportunity to show everything that we have been working on this year,” Calahan said. “It brings everyone together, and is such a fun time during the year.”
The Spring Show celebrates seniors as it will be the last time they will perform on stage as a part of Red Rhythm.
“I am really ready and excited for this spring show because it is really a time to remember and spend time with our team,” junior Tierany Scott said. “It is also a great way to spend our last time dancing with the seniors on our team that are graduating this year, it is really just a bittersweet experience.”
Nothe has mixed feelings about the show as she is excited for the dancers to perform for an audience but sad it is the senior’s last performance.
“I am excited to see all of the student’s hard work being showcased for family and friends,” Nothe said. “I am also sad to see the seniors perform for their last time as a Redhawk.”
