An inside look at biology
May 23, 2016
It’s one of the most talked about class projects in biology.
For some, it’s eagerly awaited.
For others, it’s fear inducing.
Be warned, this story contains some graphic material.
WTV’s Vivek Sundararaman has more details.
Students in biology had the opportunity to examine and learn about the structures of different organisms through dissections.
Students were divided into small groups and gained many learning experiences through the process.
“If you’re talking about body systems and you, to show a picture, for a student just to see the structure and function. It’s one thing just to see a picture, but it’s another thing to get to touch and feel and have all of your senses involved with a dissection and be able to piece the things together.”
For students, it was a good chance to put their book learning to practice.
