It seems like it was just yesterday that I was walking around the halls of my elementary school, graduating the fifth grade. Now, I walk around the halls on campus and think about what else is ahead of me. As a senior, I’m so unsure of my future. The past years I could always rely on the fact that after summer, school started. But now, I have no idea where I am going to be next year. Will I stay in Texas? Will I get to go to New York? Will I even get into college? I have so many questions, I’m filled to the brim with anxiety.
I found that writing helps organize all of the ideas floating around, so this year I’m starting a blog to keep track of my college applications and senior events, sharing my journey.
I’ll be documenting all of the highs and lows of senior (it’s not as glamorous as people think). Next week, I’m going to absolutely rip apart the dreaded CommonApp Essay.
