Kicking off their 2024 fall season with a bang in a battle of two preseason top 15 teams in the state, Redhawks tennis defeated Frisco High School 12-7 at the home of the Raccoons Tuesday.
“[Ranked] #12, [we] took down #10 Frisco High…in a five hour battle,” head coach William Davis said. “We played well in doubles, going up 5-2 [and] continued to battle in singles [to] secure the win.”
For senior Anya Krishna, the biggest takeaway from the match pertained to finding ways to score.
“I definitely feel like I could be more consistent and more patient with my game, especially with doubles at the net, and [work] my way to the point,” Krishna said.
