After a victory against state-ranked Frisco, Redhawks tennis faces another tough opponent in Lebanon Trail
After a strong start to the season, winning 12-7 against Frisco HS, the tennis team is ready to face Lebanon Trail in their upcoming match on Tuesday at 4pm at the Nest.
“The team is playing well and is confident going into the match vs top 5 in the state Lebanon Trail,” head tennis coach William Davis said. “LT has one of the strongest boys teams in the state. This will be a good test for us to see where our boys stand.”
Freshman Varsity player Vanessa Shao feels very confident about the match, but is expecting to be challenged in doubles.
“Liberty’s recent victory against Frisco increased my confidence a lot, as Frisco wasn’t the easiest opponent,” Shao said. “Aside from doubles, I’m not expecting many challenges.”
