Fifth-place Redhawks volleyball (2-1) defeated the Centennial Titans (2-1) 3-0 Friday to knock the Titans from their former first-place standing.
Redhawk volleyball finished their weekend tournament at Argyle with a 5-2 record before notching a 3-2 victory against Reedy Tuesday.
“We were a little more inconsistent than we would like, but overall it was a successful weekend,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “We did a good job of working together and handling new rotations. Our serve receive was a little shaky at times which caused us to struggle offensively, [but] it gave us a better idea of things we need to work on that are team-based, like our offensive plan and how we handle out of system balls.”
