Juniors and seniors are going to be able to visit with representatives from more than 60 colleges and universities at Thursday’s Find your Future: Texas Colleges Night from 6-8 p.m. at Independence High School.
Thursday’s event is designed to showcase public and private colleges and universities throughout the Lone Star state with information provided on admissions, financial aid, scholarships and majors.
“One of the goals is to bring awareness of post-secondary education, whether it would be college or trade or community college or whatever the case may be,” M-R counselor Angela Lewis said. “It’s just an opportunity for us to bring resources into the school from the district and allow students to understand what is available.”
