From recognitions to budgets the Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting

The FISD Board of Trustees held their monthly board meeting on Monday to discuss various issues and recognize member of the TMEA choir.

The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting Monday and went over various issues regarding the district. 

The meeting kicked off with special recognitions from the TMEA honor choir. Then the board went over all meeting minutes from June, July, and Aug.

Next the board approved of the 2024-25 superintendent goals, Board of Trustees goals, and the budget transfers and amendments for the 2024-25 general fund budget

The board also motioned to approve 4H as an extracurricular activity. There was also an approved agreement with the University of Texas at Dallas to be able to collaborate with Frisco ISD.

Lastly the board went over all of the purchases made that were over $100,000.

Joaquin Perez is a Senior in his fourth year of broadcast and is an Executive Producer this year for the WTV Daily Update. He is also Student Council President, and a Best Buddies Officer in PTSA and in NHS. For fun, Joaquin likes to hang out with his friends, watch TV, and cook.
