Scoring a 3-0 victory against the Lebanon Trail Trailblazers Tuesday, the volleyball team improved their record in District 11-5A to 1-1. The Redhawks are currently in seventh place, slightly trailing Lebanon Trail’s sixth-place standing.
“We played super consistent and were successful offensively [because] we executed our scout well,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “We did a good job of coming out strong regardless of our loss last Friday, which showed good commitment from the team.”
Even if the match had gone the other way for the Redhawks, senior Brooklynn Brown believes that what truly matters is the athletes’ actual experience and execution.
“It’s really just important to work hard and bond with the team no matter what the outcome is,” Brown said.
