The Redhawks tennis team beat Emerson 10-9 on Tuesday, qualifying the team for the playoffs where they will face off against District 10-5A champion Wakeland.
“The team is feeling confident.” head coach William Davis said. “We have a tough task going against the #3 team in the state Frisco Wakeland first round [of playoffs]. I know the team will give it their all and leave it all on the court.”
Senior Krish Jayanth feels great after qualifying for playoffs, and is preparing for the upcoming match.
“I’m excited to qualify, and I’m going to focus on recovery, sharpening my strategy, and staying mentally strong for the playoffs.” Jayanth said.
