Yippee, October is finally here! It’s finally time to dress up, carve pumpkins, and eat loads of candy!
Halloween is such a fun holiday to participate in, whether it’s trick-or-treating, exploring haunted houses, or chilling at home with a horror movie and a pumpkin spice latte. I always love hearing the spooky playlists filled with the classic Halloween songs from our favorite Halloween movies.
And we cannot forget about Spirit Halloween opening up again, especially with their new animatronics that were just added! Victor and Emily look so well-done and I can’t wait to visit the store again.
Dressing up is the most important part of the holiday, and it’s tons of fun to pick which character or creature to be. It’s a blast for the whole family, including your pet as well! Having trouble picking a costume for your pet? Here are six easy and cute ideas so your pet can join in on the spooky festivities:
Bee
Just look how adorable this dog looks in the bee costume! It’s a simple costume that’s easy to put on and won’t put extra weight on them. You can even do a little duo costume with your dog and be a beekeeper like the woman next to him!
Vampire
Don’t want a full body costume for them? That’s okay! Here is a much more simple one-piece costume if you’re leaning for something more on the scary side. It’s very quick and you only need to spend money on one part. Of course, if you’re crafty or extra, you can make the cape yourself and there’s no stopping you from making the costume a little more flashy.
Butterfly/Fairy
This photo shows the dog having a body suit to help the wings stay attached, but of course you don’t have to add that part if you have another way to help keep the wings stationary. Your pet will look so graceful and elegant in this colorful costume, shining amongst all the other furry friends that walk across the street!
Witch
Feeling a little extra? Wanting to add some pizazz? Just a little pointed hat and cape will do just fine. Your pet is ready to fly away on their broom into the moonlit night with this easy two-piece costume! The bigger hat can help build up the costume without putting too much weight on your pet as well as still making them as spooky as possible.
Hot Dog
A dog as a literal hot dog! How adorable and fun is that? This costume is for you if you’re still leaning towards a one-piece costume. A costume does not have to have multiple parts to it for it to have character. This costume has very cute and cartoony details to it and will still make your dog stand out!
Gnome
Finally, we have another fantasy-themed costume for your pet! This one is mainly a two piece costume which includes the cone hat and beard, but you can add the shirt to the costume as shown in the picture if you’d like. If you’re wanting to bring those magical vibes along with you and your pet’s costumes, this is a very good and easy pick.
Have fun dressing up for Halloween! Be sure to take cute pictures so that you can always treasure those fun memories.
