In the Redhawk volleyball team’s (8-1) second match this season against the fifth-place Lebanon Trail TrailBlazers (1-8) at The Nest Friday, the Redhawks delivered another 3-0 sweep of the TrailBlazers, holding onto both their eight-game winning streak and tie with the Centennial Titans (8-1) for first place in the District 11-5A standings.
However, one way or another, that tie is not going to last very long, as the Redhawks travel to Centennial Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. to take on the other top-ranked team in the district, with all players and coaches keenly aware that the results will decide which one of them stays on top.
Redhawks volleyball players and coaches could not be contacted for pre-match interviews.
