It’s official! I have officially submitted three college applications for early admission. There’s a difference between early action, which is non-binding, and early decision, which is binding, and all of the colleges I have applied to are so far early actions.
It felt so amazing hitting that submit button, receiving the status portal, and then checking the school off my list. I am auto-admit to one of my schools, confident in another, and unsure of the last as the school has about a 7% acceptance rate.
I still have about 10 more applications to go, including my early decision. I am still hustling to get everything done with college on top of school work.
The most stressful aspect, however, is that I really need to rework my personal statement and do supplementals. I’m very anxious about getting everything done which I think has affected my performance overall which snowballs.
I have two weeks to get my stuff together in time for the early decision deadline on Nov. 1, but I think I can do it.
Once again, it’s me against the clock.
