Although room C214 may seem like a dark room at the end of the hallway, it is an important room for most Muslim students on campus.
But this year students will no longer use paper, instead, they will use E-hall passes.
“So the E-hall pass system for the room is a way to ensure the vast majority of students who are using the room appropriately and correctly aren’t getting penalized for students who are not using it correctly,” Assistant Principal Richard Sabatier said. “Having the system, it ensures that everyone who is following the proper particles is able to do so.”
The school has been using the E-hall pass system for several years but it’s new to the Muslim student association.
“So in MSA we developed a new e-hall passes system to make sure that all students that come to pray can be accounted for in their classes and miss as little as instructable time as possible,” senior Sohail Shaikh said. “Teachers can see where the students are going and when they’re going so it’s a more conquest system and it will be better for us.”
