Theatre is hosting its annual International Thespian Society (ITS) induction ceremony on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s auditorium. The event will include honorary mentions for returning members and showcase students’ competition pieces for this year’s ITS Festival.
“Inductions is the event where we get all these people that have more than 10 points and we induct them into our society, sophomore and theatre member said. “We give them badges, ribbons, and awards based on the points they have earned. It’s just a way to recognize our hardworking thespians.”
Freshman Jonah Jason is enthusiastic about his induction as it reflects his passion for theatre.
“I wanted to be inducted because I’ve been in theater for a long time now, and it’s always been my biggest passion,” Jason said. “The inductions are like being recognized for all the hard work I’ve done, which is nice.”
