Competing against the 11 other Frisco ISD high schools in the North Texas TISCA Invitational Thursday through Saturday at the Bruce Eubanks Natatorium, the Redhawks swim and dive team saw both male and female athletes secure top 10 finishes.
“We had numerous personal best times and seasonal best times,” head coach Zachariah Gnoza said. “It is nice to see this at the midpoint of our season. They all had to do their part to help the team do well. We are at a good sitting point halfway through the season with plenty of room to grow and if the end of the season goes better, it will be a great season.”
For senior Jonathan Pearl, the invitational represented a good chance for everyone on the team to get their feet wet.
“Everyone got a good view of how high level meets go and the excitement that goes with them, and again there were a lot of personal records which everyone worked hard to achieve,” Pearl said.
