The boys’ basketball team (3-2 ) hits the court at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to host the Haltom City Buffaloes (3-0).
“We’re feeling confident,” assistant coach Robert Wilson said. “We didn’t shoot the ball particularly well on Saturday, so this is the perfect opportunity to bounce back and get things going in the right direction. Yesterday’s practice was geared towards today’s game plan and we know our guys are ready to execute it at a moment’s notice.”
For junior Tanay Karapurkar, the game presents an opportunity to work on a few things.
“The main things are handling full court ball pressure and executing on offense,” Karapurkar said. “We still have a lot of our season left though, so we have plenty of time to improve and we are just going to keep fighting.”
