The wide-scale production of the upcoming musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, allows students all over campus to participate, including choir students.
“Hunchback actually has a dedicated part which is the choir of Notre Dame singing down from up high,” Choir Director Toni Ugolini said. “We work on it a little bit in class, but most of it’s been on our own, and then starting this weekend after Thanksgiving we get to finally hear it all together with the ensemble and the orchestra so we are really excited for that.”
Choir students are excited about this new opportunity, including senior Haley Hicks.
“I’m really excited to be part of the music this year because I’ve never been in it, and I think it’s a really cool opportunity that the choir gets to be a part of,” Hicks said. “The music is really fun, so I’m excited.”
The Hunchback of Notre Dame runs from Dec. 6 through Dec. 8 in the school auditorium. Performances are at 7 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 7, and at 2 p.m. on Dec. 8.
