STAAR EOC testing begins this week

The next round of STAAR testing starts Tuesday.

The next round of STAAR testing starts Tuesday.

Starting Tuesday through Thursday, the december STAAR EOCs will be administered.

These testing opportunities are for students who missed the initial test last spring or need a retest opportunity. This is also for dual credit U.S. History students who will be taking their first EOC.

On the day of the test, students must arrive by 8:45 and testing will start promptly at 9. 

Students will need to bring their district-issued chromebooks. they may also bring bottled water and a snack.

Students will be dismissed upon completion to resume their normal class schedule.

Joaquin Perez is a Senior in his fourth year of broadcast and is an Executive Producer this year for the WTV Daily Update. He is also Student Council President, and a Best Buddies Officer in PTSA and in NHS. For fun, Joaquin likes to hang out with his friends, watch TV, and cook. He is excited to take on being an executive producer this school year and can’t wait to make content for WTV.

Rahmin Jawaid is always smiling and ready for new adventures. She is stoked to be a senior and is excited for what the future holds for her and the rest of the Class of 2016. As a California  native born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Rahmin can occasionally become a milk tea addict, wannabe Hollister model, or a beach hipster. She enjoys watching and cheering on her favorite sports teams, bicycling through enormous parks, and taking pictures of just about everyone and everything. She hates birds and fish quite a bit. Rahmin is grateful that Netflix and Spotify exist. Even though history is not her best subject, Rahmin loves learning about the past cultures and events of the world. When she’s not being a busy bee at school, work, or the gym, you can find her shopping, reading, or jamming out to One Direction. She hopes to travel to different cities all around the world and to one day adopt 10 lovely kittens. One kitten shall be named Ron Swanson.
