Over Thanksgiving break, the Redhawk girls’ basketball team faced the Glenn Grizzlies (10-2) and Hendrickson Hawks (8-6) at the San Antonio Throwdown, coming out of both games with losses, 49-39 and 33-30 respectively.
Junior Lilian Johnson feels that defense continues to be an important piece of playing well in games.
“I still think getting defensive stops is really important, but also being able to score because we’re kind of an undersized team,” Johnson said. “So getting the ball in the basket and finding easy ways to do that is important.”
