The boys’ basketball team (9-3) didn’t let Tuesday’s away game break their focus, as the Redhawks took care of business against the McKinney Boyd Broncos (7-6), coming out with a 70-57 victory.
“I’m really proud of how well the boys played,” head coach Bruce Wright said. “We went out on the court and left everything we had on the floor.”
However, senior Jacob Nickell still sees room for improvement.
“We really need to work on our defense and just making sure we don’t give up easy buckets,” Nickell said. “We need to stop our opponent’s main threats, because I feel like we allowed a lot of points.”
