Redhawks soccer started their season on a high note Friday with both teams walking away with a victory.
The boys took a 3-1 win over W.W. Samuel High School, building new chemistry on the field.
“We are a younger team and had a lot of our older players out,” senior Hector Jenkins said. “So it was nice to build as a team and still get that win with a group of less experienced players.”
Shutting out the Kimball Knights, girls’ soccer took a 10-0 victory.
“We got our win,” junior Caitlyn Rubback said. “Its a good way to start the season. We will hope to build off of this and carry it onto this next week.”
