Due to scheduled events and activities, Advisory will be closed from Wednesday through Friday.
“Things get a little hectic right before break,” Associate Principal Tyler Wicke said. “We already have advisory closed on Fridays anyway. Wednesday is the special event with the seniors coming in, so that’s something we would have closed it for regardless. And with Thursday being the day in between, it made the most sense to keep it closed the entire time.”
Junior Rupal Shirpurkar expressed mixed feelings about the decision.
“It’s kind of annoying because deep down, I was counting on those days to hang out with my friends,” Shirpurkar said. “I don’t really like staying in my second period for that long. But I understand the situation—it’s something that happens every year, so it’s not a huge surprise.”
