It’s another spirit week, but for no event in particular. With all of the testing that occurs in the days before winter break, Student Council organized dress up days and spirit themes to celebrate the holidays.
Students ended the week Friday, but will not be returning on Monday. Dec. 20 marked the start of Winter Break and the holiday season.
The campus will be vacated for two weeks and Redhawks will return to campus on Tuesday Jan. 7.
Christine Han is a senior and this will be her third year on the Wingspan staff. She manages social media for Wingspan and is also a photographer. She will be participating in her 4th year with the CTE Competitive Mock Trial Team. In her free time she likes to work in various women’s rights groups, read books, watch movies, and hang out with her friends. If she’s not too busy, she also likes to bake.
Sankeertana Malakapalli is a junior starting her second year in Wingspan. She is involved in Youth and Government and debate and plays the violin outside of school. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and doing anything artistic. She hopes to pursue a career in law.
