Hoping to make a splash, the Redhawks swim and dive team heads to the District 10-5A meet at the Frisco ISD Natatorium Thursday and Saturday.
“I firmly believe that we can achieve great things as a team,” head coach Zacharia Gnoza said. “I really see a top three on both sides [boys and girls] if everything goes according to plan as well as several podium finishes in both individual races as well as relays. We should be able to qualify all six relays to Region and hopefully qualify the most individual events in quite some time.”
As the season draws to a close, sophomore Vir Ghandi understands the importance of staying focused.
“I want to do my best and finish the season strong,” Ghandi said. “We’re very good at cheering each other on, but the other teams and harder individual times to beat definitely add some pressure.”
