The Redhawks swim and dive team competed in the District 10-5A meet at the Frisco ISD Natatorium Thursday and Saturday, with both boys and girls achieving podium finishes. The girls placed second, while the boys ended up taking third.
“Overall, I feel pretty good,” head coach Zachariah Gnoza said. “The athletes have worked hard all season for this meet. Our season is very long and to accomplish what we accomplished is huge.”
Sophomore Vir Ghandi believes there is still room for improvement despite the results.
“I wish the break hadn’t weakened my endurance so much as it was apparent in the decrease in my times during the first and second fifties of the one hundred fly,” Ghandi said.
