Hoping to bounce back from a 64-60 overtime loss and secure a spot in the playoffs, the boys’ basketball team (6-5) hits the road to face Emerson (6-5), who the Redhawks beat 56-51 earlier in the season.
“This is a must-win game for us if we want to make the playoffs,” assistant coach Robert Wilson. “We just need to go out there and play tough. The key will be shooting effectively against their defense and forcing turnovers to maximize the time we get with the ball.”
Hoping to get some on-court action after fouling out in the last game, freshman Alex Aluga is eager to help his team out on the hardwood.
“We have to find ways to get around their block and get some buckets without getting as many fouls as we have,” Aluga said.
