Students took something of a culinary approach to history, creating recipes that encompass a list of revolutions with specific ingredients and instructions that reflect class content.
The project focuses on a combination of creative thinking and applying class content to encompass all they have learned this unit.
“So it just gives them a little more flexibility and it kinda just makes it a little more fun for them,” world history teacher Kristen Mayfield. “I find that when students are allowed that creativity and a little more autonomy with projects and stuff like this, that they really seem to grasp the topic better.”
